Dr. Wenqing Hu is currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri, Rolla).

During 2013-2016 he worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the School of Mathematics, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, sponsored by Professor Vladimir Sverak. From 2008-2013 he completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, University of Maryland, College Park, under the supervision of Professor Mark Freidlin. Before that, during 2004-2008, he got his B.S. degree at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University, under the supervision of Professor Yong Liu.
