The Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies (CAMT) was established in May 2004 in partnership with Boeing Research and Technology. It serves as a U.S. center of excellence for the development and transition of innovative advanced technologies for the aerospace manufacturing supply chain.
The FREEDM Center attempts to build a network of distributed energy resources that intelligently manages power using secure communications and advanced power electronics. Their research priorities include power electronics packaging, controls theory, solid state transformers, fault isolation devices, and power systems simulation and demonstration.
The Intelligent Maintenance Center intends to build a quality research program in M/D/P and associated educational activities supported by a well-defined plan for technology transfer to industries.
