Dr. Arezoo Emdadi

Dr. Arezoo Emdadi joined Missouri S&T as Assistant Professor in the Materials Science and Engineering department in March 2020. She was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at S&T 2019-2020. Dr. Emdadi received a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from S&T and from the University of Tehran, M.S. and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and B.Eng. in Civil Engineering.

Research Interests:

Computational Mechanics and Material Science, Applied Mathematics, Phase-Field Modeling (Crack Propagation, Solidification, Oxydation), Phase-Field Crystal Modeling, Finite Element Method, and Fracture Mechanics
