Dr. Daoru (Frank) Han is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Previously he was an Assistant Research Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Power Engineering of Aircraft (Aeronautical Propulsion) from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2009; a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree with a thesis focused on aerodynamics from Missouri S&T; and a P.h.D. in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC), where he spend four year developing and applying first-principle-based plasma simulation models on supercomputers to resolve fundamental plasma physics phenomena arising from space explorations.
